Golden girl Lupita Nyong’o matched her eye colour to her Oscar statue to promote her film ‘Us’ in 2019.
Lupita popped in a pair of bright gold lenses to freak out late-night host Stephen Colbert after appearing on the red carpet in a pair of blood-red contacts and a matching dress.
The actress nailed a balance of freaky and freaking beautiful while promoting the popular horror film. Her alter-ego in the movie, called Red, kept viewers on the edge of their seat while the actress stunned on the red carpet.
Hopefully in 2020, we get to see Lupita experiment more with coloured contacts.

Out of all the celebrities who changed their eye colour in 2019, this famous makeup artist managed to steal the spotlight — just in time.
